The Crazies is a neat little horror movie about a small town in Iowa whose inhabitants are suffering from a strange disease resulting from a poisoned water supply that makes them, you guessed it, crazy! This is a remake of a George A. Romero film of the same name, and despite the recent zombie movie overhaul, this one is actually quite good. There are some truely tense moments and some great kills, but the movie doesn't go over the top or become ridiculous.
